Studio update from Amy

Ok so here it is- The band is getting together to start pre-produciton on the new album this week!!! We can't wait. I'll be updating you as things move forward but that's all I can say for now! Stay tuned.....

Will Hunt talks new album

Evanescence are hitting the studio next week and drummer Will Hunt has spoken to us about laying down a new album with the unit-shifting rockers.

On recording a new album with the Amy Lee-led band, he said: "We're going into the studio 1 March with a producer named Nick Raskulinecz. I'm really exited about that. I think we're going to make a really good rock record.

"I think it's going to be heavier and people are going to be blown away by how heavy it is. I think it's been long enough where the band has to redefine itself. I think Amy really feels like she's got something to prove and that's always a good think. I was really happy when Nick came onboard because I think he's perfect for it.

"On my breaks from Black Label Society I've been in the studio writing. There's a lot of material, probably 30 songs and we'll write some more when we get in there."
